(Outokumpu Soundwalk Audio)

Field Guide is a 18-minute soundwork by ONCE WE WERE ISLANDS and Joni Judén. From 02 to 14 November you can listen to the piece, free of charge, whilst walking in the forests and landscapes of Outokumpu. All you need is a phone and headphones and this web-link, where you will find the sound-work as an MP3 file. Posters with a QR code to the link have also been placed in different locations in and around the forest and lakes near to Outokumpu. We encourage you to listen to the piece wherever feels interesting and comfortable to you!

The piece is simultaneously being presented within the group exhibition ~~SORRY~~ at Loisti gallery in Helsinki, curated by Micol Curatolo, and released as a digital download on the record label True Aether.

Field Guide on ONCE WE WERE ISLANDS -taidekollektiivin ja Joni Judénin 18 minuutin pituinen ääniteos. Outokummun metsissä ja maisemissa koettava teos on kuunneltavissa ilmaiseksi 2.–14. marraskuuta. Tarvitset vain puhelimen, kuulokkeet ja tämän QR-koodin, jota kautta pääset kuuntelemaan teoksen MP3-tiedostona. Kannustamme kuuntelemaan teosta missä tahansa paikassa, missä se tuntuu sinusta mielenkiintoiselta ja mukavalta!

Teos esitetään samanaikaisesti Micol Curatolon kuratoimassa ryhmänäyttelyssä ~~SORRY~~ Helsingin Loisti-galleriassa, ja se julkaistaan digitaalisena latauksena levy-yhtiö True Aetherin kautta.
